Lingerie fans will cheer at the news that Stella McCartney is launching her first line of eco friendly and “affordable” lingerie next month. STELLA MCCARTNEY LAUNCHES A NEW COLLECTION OF LINGERIE STELLA, BASIC ECOLOGICAL AND LOW COST

Stella McCartney designed a low budget underwear collection for daily wear. From August on the collection Stella will be ready to shop. Classic pieces in rose and black or key pieces in bright blue and crocodile print are part of the selection.

The collection will be sold on her website and in store. The line includes five different bra shapes, including a moulded underwire, a plunge version and a strapless and seamless style. Colours include electric blue and python and easier to wear pink and black. The lingerie will all be made from organic cotton and recycled metal.

Bras will retail at around £35 and matching knickers for £17. They said affordable, not cheap I guess!
