A Long Line of Presentation

I ran into Rose near central park this past weekend.She shared some of the knowledge that she has acquired over the past 79 years. Rose told me, " There was always a long line of presentation. Not one item should outdo another. The pieces should compliment one another, to create one complete picture. This is how it used to be,there was an elegance before. We were working towards the face, everything was meant to flatter the face."

When I asked her why she wears gloves, she simply responded," To protect my hands."

Gorgeous Gloves

I love when I ask someone if I can take their photograph and they proudly announce their age.I saw this stunning woman walking up Madison Avenue and after complimenting her gloves, I asked  if I could take her photo. She replied, "I'm 86" and said that although she doesn't usually stop for photos on the street that it sounded like a cute idea. This woman had the chicest  gloves and glasses. She was walking by Central Park, when I stopped her for a quick photo. Spring is almost here do you have a  pair of glasses as cool as the ones above?

Hats Off!

This a photo of a woman named Mimi Weddell from the website for her movie Hats Off. I was very fortunate to meet and talk with her at the premiere of her film, which documents a decade of her life as a hard-working free spirit with style to inspire all.
