I've decided to continue to embrace all things monochrome. As I've mentioned before, I'm never one to steer clear of colour, but sometimes, change is as good as a holiday right?Speaking of which, I'm in the midst of planning out another global adventure. The thing with travel is that once you start, it becomes incredibly difficult to stop. I find myself compelled to explore new uncharted territory, whilst at the same time being drawn to my sentimental favourites.
As Bill Bryson puts it perfectly - to my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.
For now it's back to the planning station.

HOUNDSTOOTH
As soon as I laid eyes on these incredible houndstooth shorts, I had to have them!
Manning Cartell has to be one of my favourite Australian labels, always feminine and always the right balance of on-trend pieces and classic wardrobe must-haves.
After NYE celebrations, lined up for tomorrow evening (you can check out my party outfit HERE), I'm off again on another road-trip of Australia, driving from Melbourne, all the way up North, to the Sunshine Coast.

THE MIDI DRESS
Not a maxi, or a mini, but the midi dress is the most flattering of styles, with this black and white number proving itself not only as the perfect all-occasion dress, but also as the perfect travel companion.
With suit-cases still unpacked, all things travel have me more than pre-occupied of late.
After returning from the US, Mexico, Canada, Singapore and closer to home in Sydney, I'm glad to be spending some time at home, for now, however the allure of revisiting familiar places and unchartered territory is strong.
As the proverb goes - 'for my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move', and now, more than ever I'm excited of the adventures that lay ahead.

FAUX

To create this evening look, I started with black wet look jeans, and played around with different textures and tones.
I think this incredible faux fur vest adds the perfect touch of evening glamour, complimenting the shimmer and sparkle of the SW jewels and sequin collar detail.
Not long now until I venture abroad to the US and Mexico. I'm hitting up all of my online regulars in search of the perfect summer suitcase.

Dear friends,
It is always an adventure, when I meet with my friend Sabine!
The other day, we spent the morning, exploring a gorgeous little canal, and surrounding lane ways, strewn with the most beautiful florals. We also had fun running into some of the natural wildlife that took a particular liking to us.
This very pretty dress, ankle boots and hat, seemed like the perfect adventure attire.

RODEO SHOW
Dear friends,
Yesterday I wrapped up a full day of filming for a very exciting project, which I hope to be able to share with you soon. Such a great day, touring Melbourne and working with an incredible creative team. Some behind the scenes shots are up on TWITTER and INSTAGRAM.
In between shots, I was able to grab a couple of photos of my latest dream dress via Aussie label, Rodeo Show. Currently obsessing over all things pastel, pink hues, lilac and mint are all topping my shopping list - shoes, dresses, trousers, anything and everything!
