On a Platform

While it may appear that I am always in heels and therefore, comfortable lying about my height to passersby, it wouldn't happen without the platform. Whether it's hidden or blatantly present, it's absolutely necessary to make heels wearable all day, and almost every day. So, although these suckers are five inches tall, I'm actually only walking on three inches, Easy peasy...especially for a veteran.

Copperhead

I'm what you could call a hair chameleon. In a span of two years, I've been blonde, brunette, and now red as well as sported blunt bangs with a bob and an inch long pixie cut. Reason being that my hair grows pretty fast, plus when your best friend is dyeing and cutting your locks, it's easy to trust her judgment or get her back for minor tweaks. However, true to my New Year's resolutions, I am growing out my hair for our wedding, so we'll only be playing with the color for the next year or so! I mean, it's only hair, right?

Longer Lengths

After holding up my new green skirt (scored with an American Apparel Groupon) to the "tops" section in my closet, I decided to wear it with this watercolor tee. Normally I would wear a cropped jacket with a maxi skirt to ensure that my waist is defined rather than pair long with long; however, the colors in this tee (green, mustard, brown, burgundy, and peach) were begging to be worn with my peach boyfriend blazer! So, why not add a wide brim hat and fur vest to really work the boho chic look? Why not indeed.

A Statement

On any given day, we send out an impression to passers by through what we wear and how we carry ourselves. A mood and personality is displayed without even using words. So, what statement are you making today?
