The Gentlewoman has got to be my favorite magazine title, never missed an issue. Unlike the usual trend pages; photo collages of 'must haves'(which only make one feel dumb and superficial) I love The Gentlewoman's approach to the items of this season; five personal stories by respected fashion editors and journalists called 'modern details'. Kay Barron talks about seeing the same stuff in the racks every season and that this is not because the designers run out of ideas but because 'It knows we want to live a little in our clothes without fear of destroying them, never to be bought again.' True that Kay!
