Attempts to post my summer photos, before the autumn mood settled over me, have been well and truly quashed. Autumn has been a swift invasion (completely unlike a certain slow invasion, who else was watching last night?) It felt as though I had woken up one day and all the trees had, after many weeks of conspiring, simultaneously turned their leaves from supple green to crisp orange. Now it's time to embrace cosy sweaters and mulled cider, summer was fun but autumn will always be my favourite season.
Some photos from France where a new paddock has been fenced up, on the outskirts of the village, to house two lovely horses. I went to visit regularly and every time the grey would trot up the the fence to come have his nose patted, or more probably, was just looking for a bite to eat. Being as forgetful as I am, I always forgot to bring a snack. As I mentioned the first time I posted this dress, the print makes me think of horse tack, so wearing it to go see the horses felt appropriate.
Just for fun, here's an over-edited photo of the horses in their paddock.
