I thought June Gloom was only a Los Angeles phenomenon, but apparently it's migrated up to Portland this year. Yesterday I complained about it a little (of course), but then I decided to just embrace the gloom. I stayed inside all day drinking chai tea, watching Dexter (TV shows don't get much gloomier than that), and wearing a sweater while cuddled up under a blanket. The only time I ventured outside was to take these photos. You're welcome.
I love this sweater from Anthropologie. It makes me feel like I'm wearing a Monet painting. It's so pretty and so soft that I honestly don't care that I look like I'm pregnant whenever I wear it. Do any of you have those items of clothing that you just keep coming back to even though they're not the most flattering?
I also love this bracelet. Josh got it for me for my birthday from a Norwegian Etsy shop called Kanelstrand. He had to sign up for an Etsy account to get it, and I thought it was so sweet that he went through the trouble of doing that. I love that he went through my Etsy favorites list to pick out a present - that's some serious thoughtfulness.
