He tells us,"This shot was taken at the weekend organic market and food fair in the posh Salcedo Village in Makati City, the central business district of Manila, Philippines. Every Saturday, this grand lady shows up, coiffed perfectly and bedecked with pearl and gold finery. Before she arrives on the scene, an elderly gay man, probably her major domo, comes to reserve a table. He prepares table settings for ten, with proper cutlery and plates (note, the weekend market picnic tables are a paper plate and styrofoam container type of place) and waits for his mistress and amigas to arrive. We don't know who she is, only that she exudes the fabulousness of a bygone age."
