Morgan and I went to see The Great Gatsby, which was magical and beautiful.  I ofcourse wore a 1920s house shirt and 1920s sash to be festive.

Outfit details:

Blouse: 1920s red blue and periwinkle bow butterfly print on rayon. With transparent lucite buttons
Shawl:  1830s "the romantic period" (right after regency, and right before victorian).  The down inside keeps me warm but the outer silk keeps me from getting too hot.  The beautiful flower and ribbon motif kills me each times I wear it.  I covet this piece with all my heart!!!!!!!!  see more here
Sash: 1920s woven metalic, silk and cotton into a pink and maroon deco flower motif with a blue background, and gold fringe at the bottom
Skirt: American Apparel
Purse: 1960s leather purse figural shaped fish
Scarf worn on head: Turkish oya, which are tiny pale yellow crochet flowers that are attatched along the edge of a blue floral printed scarf
