Believe it or not, getting your hands on some Céline, Givenchy or Wang has always been nearly impossible in Amsterdam.
Some boutiques would occasionally carry a shoe, a bag, or a tee, but never those pieces you've seen come down the runway.
So you can imagine I was happy to hear that the rumors were true: department store De Bijenkorf really is becoming our own Dutch litte sister of Selfridges.
They invited Yara, Sabrina, Charlotte and me to come see (=feel, try on,
I went for that structured bomber that I had already been stalking online for a while, De Bijenkorf let us borrow a couple of things, but I really don't want to bring this baby back.
So happy to finally have a place in the center of the city, that has its racks filled with all the stuff from my favorite Paris and New York designers,
which I usually only admire through my computer screen (you know I'm talking about you mr. Lim and mr. Wang).
