Really wouldn't want my kid to look like the Christmas tree on Christmas, so we skipped the poofy dresses adorned with bows, diamonds, lace, layers, and excessiveness. Instead, I sketched a couple of dresses, let Lois pick one and got behind the sewing machine for an hour or two (you guys on instagram already saw a snapshot). I like how plain this asymmetric one turned out, which makes it all about Lois and gives space for her fantastic personality, she really doesn't need any sparkles.
