I first got into NIN when I was 15 and I haven't stopped loving them since. NIN is iconic and unmistakable. Trent Reznor, the genius behind The Fragile and Pretty Hate Machine, is unstopable and unfallable. NIN isn't your mother's music and it's probably not your music either but when this emotive shitmix of rock and electronica speaks to you, it YELLS.

Whether you love it or hate it, there is no denying Nine Inch Nail's mark on the modern music scene - heck, even Johnny Cash covered NIN's "Hurt." If you are into hard electronic or heavy rock (not metal though, there is a major difference) and have't given NIN a fair chance, do so. There is a method behind Reznor's madness and one that I love to death.

Speaking of death, NIN has a bad rap for being a Goth Girl's "go to" music and this simply isn't the case. Yes, it is heavy and often dark and yes I am dressing with both those elements in mind. But it is also undeniably romantic and flowing, something I hope my outfit brings across as well. Hard and soft, light and dark, NIN is one black angel.
